Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Title of Project : Membrane active peptides-mediated antifungal delivery strategies for powdery mildew disease management in leguminous crops.
Duration : Initially for a period of up to one year, extendable till the duration of the project, subject to extension of the project and upon annual evaluation.

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology with minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams and NET or any National-Level JRF eligibility test qualification. Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and gene expression analysis, is essential. A strong motivation and commitment towards research are required.
