Job Description
Intas Pharmaceuticals is conducting a walk-in drive to hire skilled professionals for Quality Control positions in Microbiology and Chemical departments at its state-of-the-art Plasma Fractionation Centre in Ahmedabad.
These roles focus on injectable and biotech products, requiring strong expertise in quality assurance, testing, and regulatory compliance. All positions demand prior experience in the injectable/biotech pharma industry.
Executive – Quality Control Microbiology
- Department: Quality Control Microbiology
- Experience: 2–5 years (Water, BET & Environmental Monitoring activities and documentation)
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology)
- Requirement: Pharma Injectable experience mandatory
Sr. Executive – Quality Control Microbiology
- Department: Quality Control Microbiology
- Experience: 6–9 years (Reviewer & LIMS expertise)
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Microbiology)
- Requirement: Pharma Injectable experience mandatory
Executive – Quality Control Chemical
- Department: Quality Control Chemical
- Experience: 3–5 years (QC-IPQC)
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Organic Chemistry)

Executive/Sr. Executive – Quality Control Chemical

Skills/Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, or Biotechnology
- 2–9 years hands-on experience in injectable/biotech pharma QC
- Expertise in BET, sterility testing, environmental monitoring, and trend analysis
- Proficiency in LIMS implementation, review, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on operation of HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV, pH meter, Karl Fischer
- Knowledge of equipment qualification, method validation, and regulatory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to GMP guidelines
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and prepare trends
- Perform Bacterial Endotoxin Testing (BET) on water, raw materials, and products
- Isolate and identify in-house microbial isolates
- Review and approve electronic testing records in LIMS
- Handle IPQC testing for in-process and stability samples
- Sample, test, and release raw materials and packaging materials
- Operate and calibrate analytical instruments (HPLC/GC)
- Prepare SOPs, STPs, and documentation online
