Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Specialist in Case Processing, your core responsibilities will include:
Performing triage and initial validity assessment of ICSRs (spontaneous, clinical trial, literature, and health authority cases)
Data entry and case processing in pharmacovigilance (PV) databases
Conducting initial ICSR assessment and seriousness evaluation
Assessing expedited reporting requirements and regulatory timelines
Preparing and reviewing CIOMS I, MedWatch forms, and XML files
Sending and tracking follow-up queries to reporters
Submission of ICSRs to Health Authorities and global partners
Performing quality checks (QC/QA) on safety cases in line with SOPs and regulatory standards
Conducting ICSR searches and retrievals from EVWEB
Performing company vs non-company causality assessment
Mentoring and supporting new joiners to strengthen team capability and compliance
Ensuring documentation completeness and audit readiness
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline
Strong experience in pharmacovigilance case processing
Hands-on knowledge of ICSR workflows, expedited reporting, and global safety regulations
Experience with EVWEB, Argus, or similar PV databases
Understanding of ICH-GCP, ICH E2A/E2B, and regulatory timelines
Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset
Ability to mentor junior team members and work collaboratively
