The state government has taken key decisions regarding free houses for the poor & permanent caste certificates and new passbooks for all people in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister of the state, Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, conducted a review of the Revenue Department and announced these decisions.

🔥 Permanent caste certificates to be issued by October:
- The Chief Minister has ordered that permanent caste certificates should be provided to all citizens of the state of Andhra Pradesh by October this year.
- The issue of how to provide this needs to be examined.
- Permanent caste certificates will be provided to all people with the help of village and ward secretariat employees.
🔥Ministerial Committee on Housing for the Poor & Housing Plots for Journalists:
- The state government of Andhra Pradesh is committed to providing houses to all the poor in the state.
- House plots should be distributed to all eligible poor people in the state in the next two years and the construction of houses should be completed in another two years.
- The government’s goal of “House for Everyone” should be achieved so that everyone in the state has a house within a total of four years.
- It was suggested that a committee be formed with the ministers of revenue, housing and municipal affairs to provide houses to the poor and plots for journalists.
🔥Distribution of new passbooks in August:
- The Chief Minister has instructed officials to provide new landowner passbooks to all landowners in villages where the re-survey has been completed in the state by August.
- He also said that a policy should be formulated so that the registration of inheritance and joint ownership of inherited lands can be completed at the village ward secretariats with a fee of Rs. 100/-.
- He said that if the value of the property is more than 10 lakhs, there should be an option to charge a fee of up to 1000/- rupees.
- He said that guidelines should be issued so that these registrations can be completed at the village ward secretariats.
🔥Re-survey completed by December 2027:
- The pending re-survey of all villages in the state should also be completed by December 2027.
- Every landowner should have the opportunity to know the details of their own land based on the QR code on the passbook as well as the Aadhaar number.
