As you all know, a notification was released a few days ago for the recruitment of Home Guard jobs in the CID department in the state of Andhra Pradesh .
A huge number of applications were received after the notification was released for 28 jobs with intermediate education qualification. As many as 12,569 candidates applied for these jobs, the officials conducted a preliminary scrutiny of the applications. After the preliminary scrutiny, 7,684 candidates were found eligible for these jobs and they will undergo physical measurements tests and verification of certificates at the APSP Battalion in Mangalagiri.
Schedule released for Home Guard jobs:
The schedule has been released on the CID website, indicating the dates on which candidates who have applied for Home Guard jobs should appear. The physical measurements tests and verification of certificates will begin for the candidates at the APSP Battalion ground in Mangalagiri from 9 am on June 9th. The verification of these certificates will be done till 4 pm on June 17th.

Huge number of applications for Home Guard jobs:
Since applications are being accepted for Home Guard jobs with only intermediate qualifications, those who have completed degree, PG, B.Tech and other courses have also applied. Those selected for these jobs will be paid Rs. 710/- per day. Although these are not permanent jobs, due to the current unemployment, unemployed people are competing for these jobs a lot. Approximately 275 candidates are competing for a single post.
Important update for those who have applied for Home Guard jobs:
Candidates who have applied for these jobs will have to open the official website of CID and appear with original certificates on the date of physical measurements and verification of certificates as per the schedule given therein.
