The Union Public Service Commission ( UPSC ) has released the Combined Defense Services Examination notification for the year 2025 as it is released every year to get an officer grade job with intermediate education .
In addition to providing an officer status job in the defense sector at a very young age, one can also complete the training by studying BTech, BSc, BA courses. After training, they can work as a Level 10 officer in the three services, namely the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy

- This notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
🔥 Vacancy details:
- A total of 453 vacancies have been identified. Of these
- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun – 100
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala – 26
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad – 32
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai – 276 (for men)
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai – 19 (for women)
🔥Age limit:
- Candidates born between July 2, 2002 to July 1, 2007 are eligible for admission to the Indian Military Academy and the Indian Naval Academy.
- Those who are 24 years of age can apply for admission to the Air Force Academy. That is, July 1, 2026, has been set as the cut-off date.
🔥Application Procedure:
- Candidates who wish to apply must apply online on the official website by June 17, 2025.
🔥Application fee:
- Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 200. SC, ST and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
🔥Selection method:
- Candidates who apply for this notification will be selected after conducting an OMR test, Intelligence and Personality Test, Interview and Medical Test.
- The written exam will be conducted on September 14, 2025.

- Testing centers will be set up in several prominent cities in the country as well as in the Telugu states of Anantapur, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad and Hanumakonda in Telangana.
