The Government of Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration Department invites applications for Drugs Inspector to prevent adulterated food, spurious, sub-standard, fake medicines under Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 and DPCO 2013.

Essential Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences OR Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from recognized university. Knowledge of Hindi is essential.
Application Fee
- UR / EWS: Rs. 80 + Rs. 25 Online = Rs. 105/-
- SC / ST: Rs. 40 + Rs. 25 = Rs. 65/-
- Disabled: NIL + Rs. 25 = Rs. 25/-
- Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 40 + Rs. 25 = Rs. 65/-

Selection Process
As per UPPSC Direct Recruitment through Screening Exam Regulations 2025 dated 29 Oct 2025: Screening Examination (Objective) + Interview. Final Merit = 75% Screening + 25% Interview.
- Negative Marking: 0.33 for wrong answer, multiple answers = wrong, blank = no penalty
- Minimum Qualifying: SC/ST 35%, Others 40%
- OMR must be filled correctly, no whitener/blade allowed
