🎓 Qualification
Essential:
- M.Sc. / M.Tech. / Master’s degree in any Biological Sciences discipline
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks
- Degree must be from a recognized University/Institute.
Desirable Experience:
- 2 years relevant experience in Life Science specimen preparation
- Tissue sectioning
- Embedding
- Staining
- Related biological sample preparation techniques
🔬 Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work in the Electron Microscopy (EM) Facility, including:
- Biological sample preparation for electron microscopy
- Fixation, processing, embedding, sectioning and staining
- Electron microscope image acquisition
- Image processing, analysis and documentation
- Routine maintenance of instruments and peripheral equipment
- Facility upkeep and technical upgrades
- Training students, scientists and facility users
- Supporting technical services and training workshops
- Developing facility capabilities at technical and management levels
- Supporting industry collaborations and external users
