🎓 Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- Ph.D. in any area of Life Sciences
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the degree can also apply.
- Evidence of high-quality research conducted during or after Ph.D.
🧬 Essential Research Experience
Experience in cell and molecular biology studies at the systems level, particularly:
- Omics/Proteomics
- PTM-proteomics
- NGS sequencing
- Tissue microarrays
⭐ Desirable Experience
- Cell and molecular biology techniques
- Handling primary cell lines
- CRISPR-Cas9 based genome editing
💰 Fellowship / Salary
- ₹58,000/month + 10% HRA – candidates who have the Ph.D. certificate
- ₹42,000/month + 10% HRA – candidates whose Ph.D. degree is awaited
For candidates awaiting the Ph.D. degree, a letter from the competent authority confirming thesis submission and pending final viva/defense is required.
📋 Selection & Appointment
The position is purely temporary and linked to the research project. Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email.
If the number of applications is high, IISER Tirupati may shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience beyond the minimum eligibility.
The selected candidate is expected to join immediately after receiving the offer.
