🧬 DBT Biotechnology Industrial Training Programme 2026 – Apply Online

The DBT-HRD Project Management Unit at Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad, on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), has invited applications for a six-month full-time industrial training programme in Bioengineering and Biomanufacturing.

The programme provides biotechnology graduates with hands-on exposure to live industry projects, bioprocessing and manufacturing practices under expert mentorship.

🎓 Eligibility

Candidates must have:

• 🎓 B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech./M.V.Sc./MBA
• 🧬 Specialization in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics
• 📊 Minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade
• 📅 Degree completed during 2023–24, 2024–25 or 2025–26
• Students enrolled under the DBT PG Teaching Programme in Biotechnology are also eligible.

💰 Stipend & Financial Support

• 💵 DBT Share: ₹10,000/month
• 💵 Company Share: Minimum ₹12,300/month as per apprenticeship norms
• 🏢 Bench Fee: ₹23,350 per candidate, provided to participating companies toward training expenses

📝 Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted through an All-India Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted at multiple centres.

Placement with a participating training company will depend on availability of training positions and fulfillment of eligibility requirements.

🏆 Certification

After completing the six-month training, trainees must appear for an online assessment conducted by the Sector Skill Council.

Candidates who successfully qualify will receive an Apprenticeship Certificate under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).
