It was established in 1946 as Maharashtra Association for the Cultivation of Science (MACS) and was registered under Societies Registration Act 1850. 🎓 Qualifications
JISL, SP-392 Essential:
- 🎓 Master’s Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Natural/Agricultural Science/MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from recognized University + Four (4) years’ experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and service.
OR - 🔬 Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering
Desirable:
- 🌟 Preferably Doctoral Degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering, First Class in M.Sc./M.Tech
- 🦠 Bioinformatics analysis of microbial community
- ⚗️ Experience in process optimization for biohydrogen/biomethane/bioethanol + Experience in pretreatment, saccharification and fermentation of biomass
- 🧫 Aseptic handling of anaerobic bacteria
- 📑 Research papers in SCI journals
