Reliance Industries is hiring a skilled Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer to support operations at its advanced JMD SEZ Hydrogen facility in Jamnagar. This role is key to ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant instrumentation systems.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
🔧 Perform scheduled & breakdown maintenance of DCS, PLC, analyzers, and field instruments
🛠️ Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
🛡️ Ensure compliance with HSEF standards, RESOP, MIQA, CFA, DOSHE guidelines
⚠️ Participate in risk assessments for maintenance activities
📦 Manage spares inventory, material issuance, and vendor coordination
📅 Support shutdown planning, budgeting, and minor project execution
📊 Maintain IMS documentation, equipment history, and weekly maintenance KPIs
🔄 Participate in reliability studies and obsolescence management
👨🏫 Guide and train junior engineers and technicians
🎓 Education Qualification
🎓 Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering (Mandatory)
🧑🔧 Experience Required
⏳ Minimum 2+ years of experience in Instrumentation Maintenance
🏗️ Experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Chemical / Large Manufacturing plants preferred
🛠️ Skills & Competencies
🧠 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
💻 Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC logic, and industrial analyzers
