Job Summary

Join our team in Mumbai as a Sr. HSE Engineer and drive a culture of safety across our operations. In this critical role, you will leverage your 10+ years of experience in real estate and construction safety to develop, implement, and monitor robust occupational health and safety policies and programs. requires expertise in risk assessment, emergency response planning, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety laws. You will be instrumental in managing fire safety systems, conducting audits, and providing essential safety training to all employees and suppliers.

Position: Sr. HSE Engineer

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or a 3-year full-time Diploma.
• Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (AIDS) from RLI or CLI or State Board of Technical Education is mandatory.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or NEBOSH or equivalent is desirable.

Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Real Estate Construction Safety and quality practices of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and ensure compliance with all health and safety laws.
• Maintain all firefighting equipment in optimal working condition and coordinate with the city fire brigade.
• Develop and implement fire orders, operational plans, and emergency evacuation strategies.
• Conduct regular safety training, including toolbox talks, EHS training, and fire drills for employees and new suppliers.
• Manage maintenance and vendor coordination for all fire suppression, alarm, detection, and PA systems.
• Perform risk assessments, building inspections, and hazards identification through JSA and audits.
• Initiate and investigate all accidents/incidents, preparing monthly HSE statistics to minimize recurrence.
• Develop, implement, and monitor corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct BCP (Business Continuity Plan) and manage emergency preparedness response plans.
• Ensure the proper use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all project sites.
• Drive energy management initiatives and savings programs.
• Prepare and maintain a comprehensive risk register for the entire site.
