Pfizer, a global biopharmaceutical leader known for breakthrough innovations, is hiring an Associate, I&I Competitive Intelligence for its Mumbai (Hybrid) location. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in pharmaceutical competitive intelligence, market research, and data analytics who want to contribute to pipeline strategy, product development, and commercial decision-making.
The Associate will support Pfizer’s Inflammation & Immunology (I&I) Competitive Intelligence team, playing a critical role in monitoring competitor landscapes, supporting forecasting, and enabling informed business decisions across global functions.
Conduct comprehensive secondary research to generate competitive intelligence for pipeline stewardship and product development.
Monitor competitor pipelines, business development deals, and market movements within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Support Commercial Development, Portfolio Decision & Analysis, and Business Innovation teams with CI inputs for financial forecasting and commercial assessments.
Maintain and update Pfizer’s competitive intelligence knowledge management systems, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
Prepare competitive intelligence reports and insights for internal leadership and decision-making forums.
Contribute to strategic CI frameworks and ongoing competitive landscape monitoring initiatives.
Collaborate closely with Senior Associates, CI Team Guides, and CI Directors across global teams.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
1.5–2 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, data analytics, or similar roles within pharma or healthcare.
Strong analytical, research, and synthesis skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment.
