🧬 Key Responsibilities

As a Bioinformatician/Bioinformatics Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable NGS pipelines.
• Ensure reproducibility using Docker/Singularity containers.
• Integrate pipelines into internal software platforms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for large genomic datasets.
• Document workflows and maintain version control.

🎓 Qualifications

Education

• Master’s in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–2 years of hands-on bioinformatics/NGS pipeline development experience.

Mandatory Skills

• Workflow managers (Nextflow preferred).
• Containerization tools: Docker, Singularity.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and Bash scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix & HPC environments.
• Familiarity with NGS data formats: FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, VCF.
• Tools: GATK, BWA, Samtools, STAR.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning/AI in genomics.
