SELECTION PROCESS
Junior Secretariat Assistant (General)
- Stage 1:
- Typing Test on Computer – Qualifying only
- Medium chosen in the application (Hindi/English) is final.
- Stage 2: Written Exam (Objective Type – Class XII standard)
- Paper-I (Mental Ability – 100 questions, 200 marks, no negative marking)
– Must qualify to get Paper-II evaluated. - Paper-II (General Awareness + English Language – 100 questions, 300 marks total)
– Merit will be based solely on Paper-II marks.
- Paper-I (Mental Ability – 100 questions, 200 marks, no negative marking)
- Final Merit:
- Only candidates who qualify typing test and Paper-I will be ranked based on Paper-II.
Junior Stenographer
- Stage 1:
- Stenography Proficiency Test (Dictation + Transcription – Qualifying only)
- Stage 2: Written Exam (Objective Type – Class XII standard)
- One paper with 3 sections:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Qs)
- General Awareness (50 Qs)
- English Language & Comprehension (100 Qs)
- 200 questions total | 200 marks | -0.25 negative marking per wrong answer
- One paper with 3 sections:
- Final Merit:
- Based only on written exam scores
- Only those who pass the Stenography Test will be considered.
