A notification has been issued by the Botanical Survey of India inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Research Fellow, Junior Project Fellow, Field Assistant and Office cum Data Entry Operator on a temporary basis for a period of three years as part of an NMHS funded project.

A total of nine posts are being filled through this notification. This includes 3 Junior Research Fellow jobs, 2 Junior Project Fellow jobs, 01 Field Assistant job, and 3 Office Assistant cum Data Entry Operator posts.

For the posts of Junior Research Fellow and Junior Project Fellow, candidates should have completed MSc with first class in Botany or Life Sciences or Ecology or Plant Sciences.

Candidates who have completed their degree are eligible for the posts of Field Assistant and Office Assistant cum Data Entry Operator.

Junior Research Fellow jobs offer a salary of 37,000/- plus HRA.

Junior Project Fellow jobs will be given a salary of Rs. 24,000/- along with HRA.

The salary for Field Assistant and Office Assistant cum Data Entry Operator jobs is Rs. 20,000.

The selection for the current vacancies will be done through interview and document verification without any written test.
