The Union Ministry of Health, Family Welfare has issued orders allowing the recruitment of 534 new posts at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh..
The approved posts include faculty jobs, senior resident/junior resident jobs, nursing cadre jobs and other non-faculty posts. The department-wise vacancies are as follows.
- Faculty posts – 100
- Senior Resident / Junior Resident Posts – 100
- Nursing Cadre Posts – 113
- Other Non-Faculty Posts – 171
Important details regarding the filling of posts:
The Director of AIIMS Mangalagiri has directed that while filling these posts, the pay scale and nomenclature of the posts allowed for recruitment should be at par with the pay scale/nomenclature of similar posts in AIIMS New Delhi.
It was clarified that 75% of the posts in each grade or cadre should be filled before seeking the creation of any more posts.
It was informed that the cost of these posts can be met from the budget allocation of the Ministry of Medical, Health and Family Welfare.
