Free Sewing Machines Scheme: Good news.. Full details of free sewing machines provided by tailoring

Free Sewing Machines Scheme : The Andhra Pradesh government has given good news to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The Telangana government has announced that it will provide 90 days of training in tailoring as well as free sewing machines.

1.02 lakh women from BC, EWS and Kapu communities across all constituencies in the state will be selected for this program. Out of this, 46,044 women will participate from BC Welfare, 45,772 from EWS and 11,016 women will participate through Kapu Corporation.

This program will play a key role in increasing women’s economic empowerment. With tailoring training, women will be able to gain self-employment opportunities. With the free distribution of sewing kits, there will be an opportunity to increase their family income by providing employment opportunities.
