Roles and Responsibilities

Job holder is responsible to plan, coordinate and monitor Procurement, Service and Contract activities of various ongoing projects. He/She needs to coordinate with Central Project Cell and various departments for processing of Purchase Order timely. Timely follow up with vendors and service providers for ensuring timely materials and services as per schedule. He/She is also responsible for development of new vendors/service providers.

Material Procurement: Ensure fulfillment of required quantity and quality of material in the plant

Procurement of Services: Execute services to meet Project timelines

Finalization of Contracts: Implement the contract system as per the guideline of the reporting manager as per Contract Management SOP

Vendor Development: Ensure vendor development to avail best and competitive quotations of requirements

Inbound Logistics related to Project Purchase: Facilitate in timely finalization of cost effective transport contracts in coordination with Central Logistics team by following procedure as per delegation manual related to project materials

Customer satisfaction: Meet internal customer satisfaction by timely delivering quality/quantity materials.
