Job Description
Medtronic is hiring an Associate Clinical Data Specialist to support clinical data collection, database review, and report testing. This remote full-time entry-level role focuses initially on testing reports and dashboards developed in tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and Power BI, while collaborating on the design, documentation, testing, and implementation of clinical data systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on design, documentation, testing, and implementation of clinical data studies
- Design and implement clinical protocols and data collection systems
- Develop systems for organizing, analyzing, and reporting data trends
- Manage data management issues and review protocols for consistency
- Identify standard Case Report Form (CRF) modules
- Develop data quality plans
- Provide strategic input into protocol design for data management
- Review and resolve data discrepancies using standardized validation systems
- Prepare reports of clinical trial studies for validation
- Test reports and dashboards in SQL, Spotfire, Power BI, and similar tools
