Project: Genomics assisted improvement of scented rice from Assam (Joha) and Manipur for yield enhancement under stress and improved nutrition (GAP-61)
🎓 Eligibility
Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent degree
OR - 3 years research/teaching/design & development experience after MVSc / M.Pharm / M.E / M.Tech
- Minimum one SCI journal research publication required.
🧬 Desirable Skills
- Bioinformatics analysis of NGS data (short & long reads)
- Genome assembly and pan-genome analysis
- Plant genomics and bioinformatics pipeline development
💰 Salary
Emoluments: ₹67,000/- per month + 18% HRA
🎂 Age Limit
Maximum Age: 40 Years
(Relaxation as per Government of India rules)
