Position: Applications Engineer
Experience Level: 1-5 years
Education: A degree in Mechanical or Process/Chemical Engineering is essential.
Location: Pragati nagar,Aleap industrial area Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Equipment Sizing & Design: Accurately size, estimate, design, and facilitate the sale of complex process equipment and other process plant items as needed.
- Bid & Proposal Management: Review detailed client specifications and requirements to complete high-quality, compliant bids and proposals.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates aligned with the company’s technical and commercial standards.
- Documentation & Clarification: Manage technical and commercial bid evaluations, ensuring timely and clear clarification responses.
- System Management: Utilize and maintain the company’s contract quotation databases and quote management systems efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements.
Skills & Experience Required
- Professional Experience: At least one to five years of professional experience specifically in the design of equipment for the Chemical, Process, or Minerals Processing Industries.
- Sales & Proposals Track Record: A proven track record in applications, sizing, estimating, and bid/proposal preparation, coupled with experience in sales generation.
- Experience navigating design codes and client specifications.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret manufacturing drawings, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Knowledge of chemical/process design and simulation programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
